Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) play a key role in the ecosystem of Industrial Internet Things (IIoT) and definition today’s Industry 4.0. These WSNs have ability to large amounts data, thanks their easy scalability. allow deployment number self-configuring nodes automatically reorganize case any change topology. This huge sensorization capacity, together with its interoperability IP-based networks, allows systems 4.0 be equipped powerful tool which digitalize amount variables different industrial processes. The IEEE 802.15.4e standard, access mechanism Time Slotted Channel Hopping medium (TSCH) dynamic Routing Protocol for Low-Power Lossy Networks (RPL), high levels robustness reliability necessary scenarios. However, these configurations some disadvantages synchronization phases since time it takes synchronize is penalized compared other solutions done randomly without channel hopping. article proposes an analytical model characterize behavior this type network, based on TSCH RPL during along connection network. Through model, validated by simulation real tests, possible parameterize WSN network RPL.
